Social Media - Is It Too Much To Handle On Your Own?

I have a great client who has more websites than anyone I know. When I met her she had a few websites, was doing multiple newsletters and having fun with it (she likes to write) but was adamant about not participating with other social media outlets...blogs, podcasts, social networking sites. She even suggested in her newsletters that it was a waste of time for her and she didn't have the patience to try and handle it all. She also wasn't comfortable turning her marketing over to someone else so we didn't explore that avenue either.

Since the customer is always right, I didn't push her to take part - I should have.

After working with me for two years and creating an amazing partnership and five gorgeous websites, she phoned me. She was simply not having the success she wanted online. Her offline business was great, her products were selling at events and by word of mouth, but her websites simply weren't selling for her.

She explained to me that although my work was outstanding, she needed MORE support for marketing. Knowing how she felt about marketing online, we hadn't really discussed extra support to date.

After our call I sat and realized that although I knew that at some point the issue would come up, I certainly wasn't prepared to hand her an answer when it did. Being a web designer, I know many tricks of the trade on what social media outlets were available, but my core business was building websites, not strictly marketing.

Internet Marketing specialists are in full bloom on the Internet. I know of individuals on the Internet who can teach you everything you need to know about ezines, or how to post on MySpace and how to use sites like Ryze to network socially; but what I was missing was the system which could take a total newbie to social marketing and give them the confidance and instruction needed to put them on the right track and keep them there.

I connected a few weeks later with my client who I must admit, helped straighten me out, and I'm supposed to be the expert! What she introduced me to was revolutionary, and since I never recommend a product to my clients I don't prsonally use (or have detailed knowledge of) I took the plunge. I enrolled in Renegade University.

I'm not alking about attending some institution online that's going to charge you a bunch of money and at the end of the day, you've read a few books, written an article and still aren't getting anywhere. Sound familiar?

I'm talking about a university that believes in giving as much as you receive.....in this case value. You start by giving your time, learning how to provide value to the people you'd like to do business with and what you receive in return is expertise on the subject, and combined with your desire to move forward in life and in business, you ultimately can receive success.

Is social media too much to handle on your own? The answer is simply, NO.

How can you get started? Check out Renegade University. You can start for FREE.

Can you afford to pass on an opportunity that shows you how to provide value to your clients, to build the know-like-and-trust factor in a way that will end your traditional cold-calling and list-building activities by opening up the door to the new marketing millenium?

I know I can't. So join me by getting in front of this growing trend and learn how to blast off your capacity for attracting potential clients to you quickly, easily and affordably.

See you there!
